You may have seen the first creative project in September, a commercial called “Choose to Be Moved,” aired on September 12 during Thursday Night Football on Amazon Prime. It highlights Mazda’s philosophy of crafting cars for those who seek more than just transportation, emphasizing a deeper, emotional connection with driving. It’s not just about the joy of driving, either. It’s about embracing life and choosing to go after what moves you. The “Move and Be Moved” platform will evolve further with various products, experiences, and marketing initiatives on the horizon.

Humans are at the forefront of this new creative. The choices were intentional, from the director to the actors and everything in between. “Choose to Be Moved” was directed by award-winning director Nicolai Fuglsig, who is renowned for his poignant human stories and immersive storytelling approach. The creative film celebrates drivers’ choices in pursuit of what inspires them. It showcases individuals who live purposefully, including Nika Mühl, a WNBA rookie with the Seattle Storm, Cliff Kapono, a biologist and professional surfer, and Helio Meza, an MX-5 Cup racer.
